Asima Plastic factory was founded in 1993. Over the last two decades it has gained an enormous wealth of experience in the packaging field and has been labelled as one of the largest plastic manufacturers in Qatar.

Located in Doha, Asima produces plastic vest carriers, patch handle, polythene sacks, bin liners, refuse sacks, polythene sheets and counter bags.

Our strategic plan is based on market risk diversification, focusing sales only on big traders and offering reliable eco-friendly products at affordable prices, all this supported by an excellent team, outstanding power supply and very low overhead costs.

We are proud to command a strong presence in Doha with some key clients like Carrefour, Qatar Airways and Qatar Hotel Association, but also deal with a good portfolio of distributors in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Spain, UK, Greece, Italy, France, Germany and recently in Australia.

Our factory produces 9.000 tons of plastic bags annually by running 24/7 (3 shifts a day) with a staff over 100 employees. It has an extensive area of 15.000 m2 with several workshops:

• Sorting and Recycling: We have a fleet of trucks collecting many tons of plastic scrap dispose by end-users all around Qatar and converting into small pellets as new raw material for our extruders.
• Extruding and Printing: Film Extruders for HDPE, LDPE & LLDPE. Printers 6 colors using biodegradable additives such us Reverte.
• Cutting-Sealing: Automatic bag sealing and cutting machines Hemingstone.
• Logistics: Warehousing and modern drive in racking system gives us extensive storage capacity, being able to export over 20 containers 40ft outside Qatar on monthly basis.
