1988 was the inauguration of Emirates Polystyrene Industries (EPI) Limited by Mr. Balkishen Gupta in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, UAE. Being a part of the EPI Group, Emirates Polystyrene Industries LLC as a company has been evolving itself and striving hard to meet the requirements of its clients on a timely basis by keeping the eminence of the products intact. By successfully acquiring the Mauser Technology and producing Thermoformed items for the dairy market, EPI as a company was able to expand its base into a variety of consumer based industries.
With the aim of producing eco-friendly plastic containers which are safe and durable for diverse markets, especially the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry, with a prime focus on the dairy and ice-cream divisions, EPI as a company created high-quality polymer packaging products which was well-regarded by the experts in the business. EPI as a company then began supplying to other industries and ventured into the process of Injection and Blow Molding to cater to the rapid growth of the dairy, juice, ice-cream and edible oil markets. The establishment of the distinctive production methods and advanced technology, made the growth of EPI as a sole entity unstoppable.
In 1997, Al Meerath Plastic (AMP) Factory LLC at Al Quoz was established as an added wing of the EPI Company to meet the growing demand of plastic products. The prime purpose of establishing the AMP Factory was to be an export hub to the GCC. In time, a bigger plant was needed to accommodate the high volume of production. Thus, AMP Factory moved its base to a larger location in Dubai Investment Park (DIP) which proved to be beneficial for the firm. With the EPI Company and AMP Factory, a solid group was formed in the name of EPI Group. Having close to 30 years of experience, the EPI Group aspires to not only meet but exceed the expectations of the clients by providing them the best quality products.
